On December 22, 2017 the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) with several provisions impacting qualified transportation fringe benefits was signed into law.

As the end of FY18 approaches, faculty and staff are reminded to record all planned and/or confirmed absences through June 30 in the appropriate system to ensure that leave balances are appropriately reflected and carried over into FY19.

The Badging and Certification Project will provide on-the-job professional development opportunities for 51ĀŅĀ× employees through new learning opportunities recorded in Blackboard. The first badges and certificate are expected to be available summer 2018 with the full programā€¦

As a reminder, the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period will close Friday, May 4 at 5:00 pm.

In 2014, 51ĀŅĀ× Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit established the Campus Climate Task Force to evaluate information resulting from the Modern Think 2014 Great Colleges Survey and formulate actionable recommendations.

To further support the work/life balance of 51ĀŅĀ× staff members, the University encourages departments to offer staff members flexibility in their hours of work during the summer term.
