The MLK Writing Contest Celebration brought together students, educators, and community members to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.ās teachings of equality, justice and nonviolence.

Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant is a trail-blazing conservationist whose insights about STEM, equity, and the power of nature inspire audiences of all kinds. Her presentation is free and open to the public.
The Student Social Work Association at 51ĀŅĀ× Southern will receive the Emerging Leader Award for its work in supporting unhoused populations and promoting social justice.
Holly Blevins will receive the āDrum Majorā Award for her leadership and advocacy with Ashland Pride during the Legacy Awards ceremony Jan. 28 at 51ĀŅĀ× Southern.
The Alternate Spring Break program is an immersive, interdisciplinary experience rooted in service to the surrounding community.
