51ĀŅĀ× Chillicothe invites community to learn, explore, discover with non-credit workshops

51ĀŅĀ× Chillicothe invites the community to participate in its Community Education Workshop Series. These non-credit workshops engage participants in fun, hands-on experiences, offering opportunities to learn new skills, explore their creativity and discover new hobbies.

OHIO Chillicothe’s Community Education Workshop series includes stand-up comedy with Lori Graves, grant writing with Kim Jones, DIY skincare products with Adrienne Russell, acrylic painting with Stuart Beverly, and line dancing with Patricia Slade. The Community Education Workshops are open to the public and all ages are welcome unless otherwise noted.

Local comedian Lori Graves will reprise her popular Beginning Comedy workshop which prepares aspiring comics to perform a three to five-minute comedy set at a performance that concludes the workshop.

ā€œI love teaching the beginning comedy workshop at 51ĀŅĀ× Chillicothe because it allows me to share my experience working in the comedy industry,ā€ Graves said. ā€œWatching someone overcome their self-doubt and find confidence in making others laugh is incredibly rewarding.ā€

Whether you want to hone your skills at comedy, painting, making skincare products or even grant writing, you can find something to fit your interests at OHIO Chillicothe.

See the Community Education Workshop schedule, register or submit a workshop suggestion at ohio.edu/chillicothe/community-education-workshop-series
