Subject: Opportunity for an Associate Degree

Dear Bobcat:

The State of Ohio’s Credit When It’s Due program seeks to award associate degrees to students who attended community colleges, earned some credits, and transferred to four-year institutions where they are currently enrolled, but never earned associate degrees.

Our records show that you attended an Ohio community college and successfully completed credits toward an associate degree. Those credits, along with your 51ĀŅĀ× coursework, might bring you very close to an associate degree from that institution or from 51ĀŅĀ×. You may only choose one institution.

If you would like to be considered for an associate degree from the community college you attended, please authorize 51ĀŅĀ× to release your transcript to the community college and it will be evaluated to determine if you have completed an associate degree. Please note we will send a transcript at no charge to you provided you do not have any financial obligations. If you have earned an associate degree from your former community college, they will contact you directly. This could be a great reward for you!

To authorize the review and/or release of your records, or to indicate you are not interested and do not wish to be contacted again, please go to /registrar/cwid-request.cfm. You will need to log in with your OHIO ID and password to access the site. Please visit the web site and respond by Thursday September 25, 2025.
