April Butterworth began her career at 51ÂÒÂ× in 2012 as an Administrative Services Associate in the Division of Finance’s Central Finance office. In 2014, she transitioned to the VPFA Business Service Center, where she served as an Employment Coordinator for nearly a decade. In January 2023, April joined the OHIO Business Service Center as the Special Assistant and Project Manager to the Executive Director. Later that year, in September, she stepped into her current role as Training Manager.

In her training role, April is passionate about laying strong foundations for new team members while also identifying opportunities to support the growth and development of existing staff. Her work is driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

A lifelong resident of Athens County, April lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her family—especially when it means unplugging from electronics. April also has a love for small-scale farming, often spending her free time gardening and raising animals.
