The Maximize Project
The goal of the Maximize Project is to develop and evaluate innovative resources that help teachers use positive behavioral supports to meet the diverse needs of their students.
With funding from the Institute of Education Sciences, we partnered with educators across four years to co-create the Maximize Platform, an interactive technology platform, informed by psychological and education science principles, to facilitate teachersā use of equity-focused positive behavior supports.
Maximize offers teachers:
- A private space for professional learning and self-reflection and,
- Interactive wizards that guide teachers through self-assessments, self-reflection activities, goal setting, implementation planning, and progress monitoring to simulate meaningful changes in practices.
- Resources for applying the 10 priority strategies
Teachers say:
- The platform provides useful resources
- The platform is easy to use
- I would recommend it to a colleague
