The Biological Sciences Departmentā€™s fundraising priorities include undergraduate scholarships, research and conference funding, and growing the Rush Elliott Endowed Professorship.

• Scholarships for undergraduate Biological Sciences majors

• Provides stipends and scholarships to graduate students

• Supports juniors or seniors who are majoring in biology pre-med

• Scholarship for undergraduates who are majoring in pre-med

• Scholarship for undergraduate biology majors

• Scholarship for pre-med students who have financial need, with a preference to students from Southeastern Ohio

• Supports undergraduate Biology students who have financial need

• Honoring the legacy of Dr. Soichi Tandaā€™s teaching career at 51ĀŅĀ×, this scholarship supports undergraduate Biological Sciences majors with interest in biological research.

Research, Conference & Travel Funding

• Supports travel, field research, etc. for juniors and seniors majoring in marine, Freshwater, and conservation biology

• An award to recognize excellence in research within the Biological Sciences Department by a faculty, post-doctoral fellow, or graduate student
