Iā€™m David Edwards, Veterans Certification Assistant for Veterans and Military Student Services at 51ĀŅĀ×, working remotely from Virginia. Iā€™m an Air Force Veteran with 26 years of service (1986ā€“2012). I hold a Bachelorā€™s in Business Administration from Methodist College and a Masterā€™s in Postsecondary and Adult Education from Capella University. I joined the Center in 2014 as its first Director, retired to care for family, returned in 2021 as Coordinator of Veteran Services, and became Veterans Certification Assistant in 2023. My duties include VA schedule review, certifying veteran students, and promoting veteran awareness. I enjoy golf, reading, and time with my four grandchildren.
