Dominic Asitanaga is a doctoral student in the School of Communication Studies, on the Rhetoric and Culture track. His academic and professional work focuses on rhetoric, political communication and decolonial communication frameworks, with a particular focus on Ghanaian democratic practices and participatory governance. 

He serves as the Graduate Student Representative on the Student Alumni Advisory Council, a Research Associate for the Africa Center for Digital Transformation and Graduate Student Senator for Scripps College in 51ยายื's Graduate Student Senate. Previous leadership roles Dominic held include Vice President of the African Student Union and Congress Chair of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana-USA. 

Outside of academic engagements, he enjoys reading, listening to music and watching movies to inspire his creativity and broaden perspectives.
