Mark Brewer has been with WOUB Public Media since 1999, serving as the General Manager since 2016.  His career has been spent serving communities through public media; first in west Texas, then in northern Minnesota, and finally to Athens, Ohio and 51ÂÒÂ×. His primary focus through the years has been in production, television programming and news which includes developing a nightly television newscast for a previously unserved population.  He is a three-time regional Emmy Award winner, a recipient of a CINE Golden Eagle Award and has played a role in helping many students at OHIO achieve their goals of launching their own media careers. Brewer holds a BA in Journalism and was a member in the first cohort to receive the Executive Master of Public Administration from 51ÂÒÂ×.
