| 8:25 - 8:45 am | BSO Welcome and Program Overview Kick off your orientation journey with an introduction from university leadership and the orientation team! Youāll meet our student orientation leaders, review the program schedule, and learn more about the rich experience youāll have at 51ĀŅĀ×. |
| 8:45 - 9:20 am | Services to Know Representatives from the Registrarās Office, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Bursarās Office, Transportation and Parking Services, and the Office of Information Technology will share valuable information to know in your transition. |
| 9:20 - 9:30 am | Break and Transition Time Take a quick stretch break! Following, youāll need to log in to your next sessionāfirst-year students, transfer students, and guests will each join separate meetings. |
| 9:30 - 9:35 am | Family and Guest Program Overview Additional information about the family and guest program schedule will be shared. |
| 9:35 - 10:15 am | Helping your Student Thrive Led by the Office of the Dean of Students, this session offers families and guests an opportunity to explore how OHIO supports students in thriving both academically and personally. Youāll also gain valuable insights into the universityās expectations, ensuring your studentās success.āÆ |
| 10:15 - 10:55 am | Safety and Support Panel Join this panel to learn more about campus safety and security, as well as resources that support students holistically. |
| 10:55 - 11:05 am | Quick Stretch Break Itās time for another break! Following, youāll want to log in to your next session. |
| 11:05 - 11:40 am | What I Wish My Family Knew Hear from our orientation leaders as they reflect on their personal transitions to college and share how their relationships with family evolved during that time. This session includes an open Q&A, giving guests the chance to ask questions directly to the student panel. |

| 12:40 - 1:25pm | Family and Guest Academic Meet and Greet with Colleges Connect with your studentās academic college to learn about university, college, and major-specific requirements. |
| 1:30 - 2:00 pm | Next Steps Panel Representatives from various offices will share important reminders and next steps to help you and your student prepare for the fall semester. |
| 2:00 - 2:30 pm | Beyond BSO Our staff will share key insights into the student transition experience and offer practical tools for how families and guests can provide support. Youāll also have the chance to participate in a Bobcat Student Orientation traditionāwriting a letter to your student. Letters will be delivered a few weeks into the semester. All letters must be submitted by the end of the day on Friday, August 15. |
