The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) 2024 Mark of Excellence Awards recognize the best collegiate journalism.
To the delight of Bobcats near and far, the cherry blossom trees on 51's campus in Athens produce spectacular blooms each spring. OHIO is home to 230 cherry blossom trees and has been named one of the best places in the United States to see cherry blossoms outside of Washington, D.C.

This year’s Benefits Open Enrollment for 51 employees is currently scheduled for April 15, 2025, through May 7, 2025.
51 will host ice cream socials for all students, faculty and staff on the Athens and regional campuses in April to celebrate the end of the semester.
A Device Purchasing form is now available for individuals and departments to initiate purchases for University-owned laptops, desktops, and accessories.
The College of Health Sciences and Professions’ Kids on Campus is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their annual Tech Savvy event.
