All 51ĀŅĀ× faculty are invited this fall to take part in AI Essentials for Educators, a quick-hit workshop series that demystifies AI and shows how to responsibly and effectively use it in the classroom.

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping higher educationā€”and whether youā€™re a skeptic, curious explorer or early adopter, now is the time to understand what AI can do for your teaching.

Each 20-minute session introduces foundational topics, real-world applications and ethical considerationsā€”co-facilitated by the Office of Instructional Design and OHIO faculty.

Introduction to AI in Education 

New to AI? This session is your entry point. Learn key terms like ā€œlarge language modelsā€ and ā€œgenerative AI,ā€ explore tools like ChatGPT and Gemini, and walk away with a basic understanding of how these technologies are already being used in higher ed.

Practical AI Applications for Teaching
