51ĀŅĀ×ā€™s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) office has relocated to new offices and to a new organizational home.

Beginning in January 2025, ERM is now part of the Office of Audit, Risk, and Compliance and has moved to Grosvenor Hall 250. The office also has a new website integrated with the Office of Audit, Risk, and Complianceā€™s site.

Previously under University Human Resources, the restructure aligns ERMā€™s risk mitigation function with Internal Audit and University Compliance.

ā€œOur Enterprise Risk Management team provides essential services for the OHIO community,ā€ said Executive Director and Chief Audit Executive Mary Ann Boyle. ā€œThis transition serves to build on and further strengthen the foundation for a comprehensive assurance framework that will drive operational excellence, institutional integrity and strategic risk management. We are excited for this new direction and opportunity for more integrated collaboration in support of a shared focus on identifying, addressing, mitigating and monitoring risk.ā€

ERMā€™s key responsibilities at 51ĀŅĀ× include Risk Management and Insurance, Workersā€™ Compensation, and oversight of the Minors on Campus program.

• Larry Wines serves as the director of Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance and is part of the new OARC leadership team 
• Lori Markins, University claims coordinator, is available to assist with questions about OHIOā€™s Minors on Campus programs
• Eric James, manager of Enterprise Risk Management and Workersā€™ Compensation, is responsible for Workers' Compensation questions and claims
