University Communications and Marketing and Printing Services partner to open walk-in services center on campus

Faculty, staff and students will have access to on-demand design and printing services beginning Monday, January 13, at the new University Marketing Services Center (MSC) in Grosvenor Hall. The services center provides walk-in access to services provided through University Communications and Marketing and 51ĀŅĀ× Printing Services, as well as standard branded office materials such as note pads and folders available for purchase.

The MSC, which includes on-site production equipment for quick-turn printing, can design and print projects for the University community – often while you wait – including fliers, posters, business cards and more. In addition, the center will serve as a pick-up and walk-in order location for Printing Services, which offers a full suite of commercial-level production services including apparel printing and embroidery, large format banners and signage, and production for all types of marketing materials. The MSC will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

ā€œWe’re excited to bring services like this to central campus,ā€ Gabrielle Blackwood Johnston, director of Marketing Services, said. ā€œAnyone will be able to walk in and get one-on-one help with their projects – no matter if they’re a student who needs a dodgeball club flyer; a faculty member who needs materials for a conference; or a community member who is interested in creating t-shirts. The sky’s the limit!ā€

The MSC will also provide in-person help with project intake for more strategic or longer-term projects on behalf of UCM and Printing Services. Faculty and staff may also continue to access UCM services through the  or utilize Printing Services .

ā€œThe Marketing Services Center is intended to provide a solution for members of our University community who need help with basic printed marketing materials to support the many events and activities that happen on our campus each year,ā€ said Robin Oliver, vice president of University Communications and Marketing. ā€œWe also hope it will make it easier for anyone on campus to access standard branded print materials quickly.ā€
