New updates have been approved for the policies related to payment cards at 51ĀŅĀ×.

The Executive Staff Policy Committee approved the updates to Policy 55.074 Payment Card Program on March 18, 2022.

Areas of update for the policy include, but are not limited to:

• Clarification of deadlines to submit substantiations for all credit card transactions.
• The term ā€œPurchasing Cardā€ has been changed to ā€œCredit Cardā€ to make the terminology flexible enough to accommodate new options available in the banking industry 
• Clarification of cardholder responsibilities, approver responsibilities and planning unit responsibilities to address the decentralized structure of the credit card program at 51ĀŅĀ×
• Procedures have been removed from the policy in compliance with policy development guidelines.
