Cybersecurity Awareness Month begins October 1

This October, join 51�� in celebrating the 18th annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

51�� has teamed up with the to become a Cybersecurity Awareness Month Champion. Each week throughout the month, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will explore different cybersecurity related themes:

Be cyber smart: Discover best practices to be cyber smart in your personal life
Fight the phish: Learn to recognize phishing schemes to keep your information secure
Explore. Experience. Share: A week focused on careers in cybersecurity
Cybersecurity first: Prioritizing cybersecurity in hybrid environments

OIT encourages OHIO faculty, staff, and students to participate in this year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month, as everyone plays an important role in keeping our University’s digital community safe. Remember: “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.”
