
Jenny Hall-Jones named interim Vice President for Student Affairs at 51ĀŅĀ×

51ĀŅĀ× President M. Duane Nellis, today, announced that Jenny Hall-Jones has been named interim Vice President for Student Affairs at 51ĀŅĀ× effective October 24, 2020. This news follows incumbent Jason Pinaās announced plans to step down from his role at OHIO.
Hall-Jones, who has served in several key roles at 51ĀŅĀ× over the past 24 years, is a three-time Bobcat, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology, her Master of Education degree in College Student Personnel, and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education all from 51ĀŅĀ×.
Her work at OHIO began in and continued in the until she was appointed Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students at 51ĀŅĀ× in 2013.

In her time at 51ĀŅĀ×, Hall-Jones has provided leadership and supervision to several division departments, including the Campus Involvement Center, Community Standards and Student Responsibility, Counseling & Psychological Services, Sorority and Fraternity Life, the Survivor Advocacy Program and University Well-being and Recreation. She has also established strong working relationships with faculty, staff and community leaders.

Pina, who became the University's Vice President for Student Affairs in June 2016 announced he will join New York University as Chief Strategy Officer for Global Programs and University Life effective October 26, 2020.
