51ĀŅĀ×ā€™s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs is ranked among the top 20 percent of the nationā€™s public affairs graduate schools in the latest graduate school rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

OHIO tied for 58^th among public affairs graduate schools on the latest list, up 10 places from last year.

Voinovich School Dean Mark Weinberg attributed the Schoolā€™s success to its focus on applied learning, involving students in applied research to develop and implement real-world solutions. 

ā€œThe Voinovich School is a new type of professional college that integrates multidisciplinary faculty, professionals, students and alumni to work with governments, nonprofits and businesses to build strong and vibrant communities,ā€ Weinberg said. ā€œThe Schoolā€™s efforts have been highly successful in entrepreneurial development, water quality, education, health, child welfare, substance abuse prevention and waste reduction/ā€‹environmental remediation regionally and across Ohio.ā€

OHIO also increased its ranking among best education graduate schools to a tie for 105^th, a tie for 32^nd in fine arts, and a tie for eighth in printmaking, while retaining its third-place ranking in ceramics.

Duane Nellis said. ā€œThese rankings show the broad diversity of excellent graduate programs at the University, and we are proud to see continued improvement.ā€
