51ĀŅĀ×ā€™s Center for Campus and Community Engagement will host a Community-Based Internship Showcase from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday Jan. 27 in the Baker University Center Theatre. A reception will follow.

The showcase will feature a panel of students who have interned at organizations including the Mayors Partnership for Progress, the Southeast Ohio History Center, and Rural Action.

The Center for Campus and Community Engagementā€™s Community Based Internship program creates outstanding partnerships between dedicated students and nonprofit/public-sector organizations. By engagement in community-driven work, students gain high impact experiential learning that results in authentic outcomes for communities. This showcase highlights the powerful, mutually beneficial partnerships between 51ĀŅĀ× students and community partners. This event takes place during the College of Arts and Sciencesā€™ Career and Networking Week and is open to all Bobcats and community members.
