
Community-based Internship Showcase is Jan. 27

51ĀŅĀ×ās Center for Campus and Community Engagement will host a Community-Based Internship Showcase from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday Jan. 27 in the Baker University Center Theatre. A reception will follow.
The showcase will feature a panel of students who have interned at organizations including the Mayors Partnership for Progress, the Southeast Ohio History Center, and Rural Action.
The Center for Campus and Community Engagementās Community Based Internship program creates outstanding partnerships between dedicated students and nonprofit/public-sector organizations. By engagement in community-driven work, students gain high impact experiential learning that results in authentic outcomes for communities. This showcase highlights the powerful, mutually beneficial partnerships between 51ĀŅĀ× students and community partners. This event takes place during the College of Arts and Sciencesā Career and Networking Week and is open to all Bobcats and community members.
