Improved Shipping Terms on Pocket Nurse Parcel Shipments
Effective November 1, 2025, 51ĀŅĀ× and Pocket Nurse have agreed to updated shipping terms on parcel shipment orders. Pocket Nurse is a preferred supplier of medical supplies for health care simulation education through the OMNIA purchasing consortium contract. This summer, the OMNIA parcel shipping charges were modified, prompting departments to contact Procurement to explore options for managing increased shipping costs.
Procurement subsequently negotiated revised parcel shipping rates with Pocket Nurse, resulting in the following parcel shipping rates (āMin/Max Shipping Ratesā). Please note that large, non-parcel shipments (e.g. equipment) will continue to be quoted separately.

In the coming months, Pocket Nurse will transition to quoting shipping costs based on the parcelās weight, dimensions, and destination (āActual Size Shipping Ratesā; i.e., akin to FedEx or UPS quoting). Once this is in place, Pocket Nurse will charge the lower of the Min/Max Shipping Rates and the Actual Size Shipping Rates.
