
FARM Enhancements

On July 31, 2025, the Financial Approvers and Related Metadata (FARM) application will receive a series of small but meaningful updates to enhance functionality and user experience.
Changes youāll see in FARM include:
- Performance Boost - Faster load times across the application.
- Cleaner Approver Records - Duplicate records due to employee name changes are eliminated; only the current name will now be displayed.
- Future-Dated Approvers - You can now enter future-dated new hires as approvers so that they are effective on day one; you no longer need to wait until their first day of work to assign approver roles to them in FARM. (Note - The employee must first activate their OHIO ID and HR must create the employee record in the HR system before it will be available in FARM. Additionally, the approver start date cannot be prior to their hire date.)
- Improved Search Functionality - Enhanced search on the āApprover Setup by Userā page with dropdown suggestions for more precise user selection.
Copy User Feature Update - An optional end date field has been added when assigning approvers using the ācopy userā feature.
