Benefits Open Enrollment Ends Wednesday, May 4


As a reminder, the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period will be open through Wednesday, May 4, 2022. 


Paola Munoz, Charlene Suggs and Laura Farrell chose to live differently. Rather than relying on a physical structure to define their ā€œhomes,ā€ Munoz, Suggs and Farrell sought out living experiences that prioritized environmental sustainability at the scale of the household. Although the three resided in Athens decades apart, they each participated in an intentional living endeavor – at the 51ĀŅĀ× Ecohouse, Wisteria Community or Acme Co-op – during their time in Southeast Ohio.

OHIO celebrates Earth Week 2022


51ĀŅĀ×’s Office of Sustainability and campus and community partners will open Earth Week with the OHIO Earth Day Celebrations on Monday, April 18, in the Walter Hall Rotunda. The University will also recognize Earth Day itself on Friday, April 22, with a parade and event at the Baker University Center.

2022-23 Benefits Open Enrollment Period is Underway


The 2022-23 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period begins April 11, 2022, and ends on May 4, 2022.  

Kiplinger Fellowship in Climate Change Reporting


The Kiplinger Fellowship in Climate Change Reporting is proud to announce its list of professional speakers who represent some of the top leaders in journalism and climate sciences.

This year’s fellowship will feature 15 trainers who will give presentations to 19 environmental journalism fellows while on 51ĀŅĀ×’s Athens campus, April 18-22.
