  Emily Guseman, Ph.D., conducts research that considers how lifestyle behaviors, including physical activity and sleep interact with stressors to influence development of obesity and metabolic syndrome during childhood. Dr. Guseman and members of the Diabetes Institute are working to identify weight loss-independent interventions to improve health among children with obesity.
