My current research investigates the interactions of behavior and ecology of a newly habituated chimpanzee community, the Buraiga community, in Kibale National Park, Uganda. Results of this research will deepen our understanding about chimpanzee
behavioral variability and adaptations to habitat heterogeneity in human influenced landscapes. My past research includes primate energetics and behavior, and paleontology.
